About This Course

This course covers the origin and development of the Methodist movement in the 18th Century up to and including the establishment of the Methodist Episcopal Church in the USA at the 'Christmas Conference' of 1784.

This module provides an introduction to the roots of Methodism, the eighteenth century revival, the life and theology of John Wesley and origins of Methodism up to and including the Christmas conference.
